Breaking bread from house to house
And, persevering with one accord every day in the temple,
and breaking bread at home, they ate with joy and singleness of heart, praising God,
and falling into the grace of all the people.
And each day the Lord added to them those who were being saved. (Act 2:46-47).
Since we were born as a church, this has always been a word that has guided us to a dimension where we can both gather together in places where Our God will give us His Life and Blessing forever, as well as being in the intimacy of homes, in bosom of families, where shepherding actually takes place, with eye to eye, with more ears than words and preaching, and with love practiced and not idealized.
Unquestionably we are living in days when ancient promises have been manifested in the lives of each of our ministers and brothers and this work in small groups has been growing with great health and joy in different places.
It's not like you're going to be able to do it.
Fourth are our goals for the Houses where Jesus Christ is being shared:
1st This work has a pastoral focus. All members of our church are Christ's sheep, in addition to being soldiers, branches, bride, and many other ways to manifest God's purposes for us. We are sheep of the Good Shepherd Jesus, and everyone needs to be shepherded.
2nd This work generates communion. In the intimate relationship that occurs with the weekly meetings, true friendships are solidified, not only in the liturgy of a Worship, but in the communion of the Lord's Supper, of prayers, of outbursts, of common challenges. If we lose this, we lose everything!
3rd The Pastoral Body is shepherded. Those who minister are the first to be ministered and shepherded, by the Pastoral Body of our church, always one of our Pastors, ministers something in the heart of each one of their ministry colleagues and then each one with their own characteristics, and through the characteristics of the people Jesus entrusted to them, they share in Grace, what they received from Grace.
4th Christ in us Hope of Glory. Just as it is fundamental for each minister to see in his own life that the shepherding he has received from the Pastoral Body has enabled him to progress in the Gospel, it is essential that he check the level of progress, assimilation of the Word and changes practices of life, which the group to which he ministers begins to experience.
It's not like you're going to be able to do it.
